Transfer Printed Table Wares

This nearly whole blue transfer printed whiteware plate (decorated in the Florentine Pattern and manufactured by T. J. and J. Mayer) was found in a concentration of plaster rubble. This plate was probably manufactured sometime during the years of 1843 to 1855.

A great variety of transfer printed table wares (plates, platters, serving bowls), tea wares (cups and saucers), and household wares (chamber pots and lids) were recovered from the Conference Center site early midden.
