View of the southeast corner of the powerhouse building. The lower walls on the main floor are brick, while the upper sections are covered with stucco. The rectangular cutout in the east wall was for the vent by which smoke from the boilers was directed into the smokestack. The smokestack has been demolished.
Photograph of Bell and Zoller No.1 circa 1920s. The large smokestack on the left end of the powerhouse is prominently stenciled with "BELL & ZOLLER". The company would erect a similar smokestack at Mine No. 2.
Mine information at Bell and Zoller No. 2 was broadcast via station ABC ("Always Be Careful"), which was opened on March 30, 1936. It is not known which building the station was located in.
